Privacy policy
This site is run by Ieva Grava and Mārtiņš Grava, the creators of Crown Shuffle, based in Latvia. We don't have a company yet, so we are responsible for your data personally. You can reach us at game@crownshuffle.com. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to tell you about the game.
Mailing list
If you join our list, we store your email address, and the page of our site where you signed up, with our email provider, MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, Lithuania, EU). We use it only to send news about Crown Shuffle and our Kickstarter campaign. The legal basis is your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.
Cookies and analytics
We only load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) and the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) if you click “Allow cookies” in the cookie banner. They tell us which pages are read and which ads bring visitors, and they set cookies to do so. Meta may also use the Pixel to show our ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited this site. If you allowed cookies and join our mailing list, the Meta Pixel also sends Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address, so Meta can tell us which of our ads led to your signup. If you decline, neither is loaded.
These are the cookies, and the one thing we keep in your browser without asking:
| Name | Set by | What for | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_NZ5C51J640 | Google Analytics | Counting visits and which pages get read | 2 years |
| _fbp | Meta Pixel | Measuring our ads, and showing them to past visitors | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta Pixel | Set only when you arrive by clicking one of our ads | 90 days |
| cs-consent (local storage) | This site | Remembering your cookie choice. Needs no consent, it's how we remember you said no. | 6 months |
Meta may also use its own cookies on facebook.com and instagram.com, under Meta's own privacy policy. You can change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you take back a yes, we stop loading both tools and delete their cookies from your browser. Either way we remember your choice for 6 months, then ask again.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which processes your IP address and the page you request to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. Email game@crownshuffle.com and we'll sort it out.
